Bei Mario is a restaurant full of history. When Mario, the owner, arrived in Monaco from sunny Sorrento in November 1959 as a qualified young chef, he really didn’t want to stay long. With immense willingness to take risks, great diligence and tireless will, he finally opened his first restaurant in 1966.
Mario has made a name for himself in Monaco not only for his famous and original Neapolitan pizza baked in a wood-burning oven, but also for the typical specialties of his land. Mostly homemade dishes are still prepared by local chefs.
