Background

In August 2024, the 4th edition of the Pistachio Festival took place at Jules B-Part in Gleisdreieck Park, drawing in more than 9,000 attendees over two days.

This year, the event was supported by two unique brands, Viani and Pinù, both of which played pivotal roles as partners and sponsors. Their involvement not only elevated the festival experience but also significantly expanded their reach within the Berlin community.

About the sponsors

Viani

Viani operates two gourmet grocery stores in Berlin, located in Schöneberg and Prenzlauer Berg.

In these locations, as well as having the possibility to shop their high-quality range of Italian and Mediterranean foods, you can also enjoy fresh, all-day cuisine in their in-store deli cafes. 

Pinù

Pinù is a Berlin-based start-up founded by Sara and Marvin that produces a pistachio-flavoured drink.

Inspired by a trip to Italy in 2021, they developed Pinù as a vegan, low-calorie alternative to regular milk. With its nutty and slightly sweet flavor, Pinù is perfect for frothing, making it an ideal companion for coffee and other beverages.

Integration into the festival

Viani

Viani provided a welcome treat — a pistachio-flavoured truffle — to all attendees.

Additionally, each guest received a voucher that could be used at either one of Viani’s Berlin stores or online, in an effort to drive more people to explore their extensive product range.

Pinù

Pinù transformed the Jules Café into a pistachio heaven: all coffee beverages were offered also with Pinù’s milk as a vegan alternative to traditional dairy.

This creative approach not only highlighted the versatility of their product but also aligned perfectly with the festival’s theme.

Impact

Through this partnership, Viani and Pinù were featured prominently across all promotional material related to the Pistachio Street Food Festival, including thousands of flyers, hundreds of posters, press releases, and social media advertisements. In fact, the collaboration provided both brands with exposure to a large, varied and relevant audience. 

The Pistachio Festival 2024 partnership with Viani and Pinù was a resounding success, offering both brands a platform to showcase their unique products, while enhancing the festival experience for all attendees.
