Gelato Week
Artisanal ice cream, but in the form of crazy experimental flavors: this is the Gelato Week Germany! Each participating gelateria chooses a unique flavor of gelato, different for each gelateria, and during the week of the event week, it offers it in its own shop for only €1.50 per scoop.
This year, the event will take place from Thursday, April 18th to Wednesday, April 24th (extended until Saturday, April 27th), simultaneously in various areas of Germany: Berlin, Schwarzwald, Voralpenland, Rhein-Main, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Münsterland. Soon we will share with you the complete list of the participating gelaterias, as well the special flavour they will offer for the occasion.

STAMP CONTEST
Enjoy the scoop of the event and get the corresponding stamp on your map. Collect at least three stamps and participate in our special contest!
How? Take a picture of the flyer with the stamps, send it to us at trueitaliancontest@gmail.com* and enter a drawing to win:
First prize: €100 to spend at your favourite gelateria (among the participating ones)
Second prize: €50 to spend at your favourite gelateria (among the participating ones)
Third prize: €25 to spend at Babbi’s online shop, a company of excellence in the confectionery sector
On may 3rd at 5pm, follow the live extraction on @trueitalianfood Instagram page to discover the lucky winners!

PHOTO & VIDEO CONTEST
Eat gelato, take a picture and WIN a three-night trip for two people to Italy, on the Riviera Romagnola!
HOW?
1. Take the most creative picture or reel during the Gelato Week Germany;
2. Post it on you Instagram profile (no IG story, and you must have a public profile);
3. Tag @gelatoweek_germany in the picture;
4. Add the hashtag #gelatoweekgermany in the description;
5. Geo-tag the gelateria where you took your gelato (of course, it must be one of those who joined the event)
You have time to post your picture until Sunday, 28th April at 14:00. On the same day, our jury will select the best 10 shots and they will be published on @gelatoweek_germany and on @trueitalianfood Instagram stories.
Our followers will decide which photo deserves the victory through a poll.
24 hours after, we will announce and contact the lucky winner!

2023 Edition
The 2023 edition of the Ice Cream Week has taken place from the 20th to the 26th April 2023 in more than 40 shops all around Berlin.
Each of them offered the possibility to try amazing ice cream for all the tastes.
The tour has brought numerous people to discover new ice cream shops and the value of the artisanal gelato (a lot of them vegan), but it didn’t stop there: the 2 contests that came along with the event (Instagram and stamp collection) have fired Berlin up!
