The Osteria Der Alpenhof was born as an inn in 1901, then transformed into a legendary pizzeria in the 80s, and now it is a renovated and modern Osteria, that deserves to be seen. You can taste different foods in a myriad of appetizers, like the iconic bruschettas, the tasty zuppa di pomodoro, the famous Piedmontese veal with tuna sauce, or a rich burrata. But the first dishes are even better: a lot of different kinds of pasta and pizzas that they bake in pans. This makes it more like the elegant Pizza Romana than the rustic Pizza Napoletana. They prepare all the pizzas with their homemade tomato sauce. They prepare all pizzas (except vegan and pesto) with mozzarella. And for meat eaters, there are also very tasty meat options, like chicken and beef sirloin.
