Berlin’s first Pizza Street Festival with 10 of the city’s best pizzerias

On July 16th and 17th, the first Pizza Street Festival will take place at the Jules B-Part in the Gleisdreieck park (Berlin). Ten of the city’s best pizzerias will come together for 2 days in one fantastic location.

The first event totally dedicated to one of the world’s most-loved foods, the Pizza Street Festival, finally arrives in Berlin. On the weekend of July 16th and 17th, ten of Berlin’s most renowned pizzerias will come together in one location – at the Jules B-Part in the Gleisdreieck park – for a journey dedicated to His Majesty Pizza. The Jules B-Part will be transformed for the occasion into a small capital of great flavours thanks to the True Italian Pizza Street Festival, an event organised by True Italian with the support of Ooni and the patronage of the City of Naples. The location and the number of pizzerias involved make the event the largest street pizza festival ever held in Germany, and there will also be DJ sets and concerts.

The participating pizzerias

Some of Berlin’s best master pizza makers will be present at the event dedicated to this iconic Italian food. Germany’s largest pizza festival will feature Capvin, Cheers Kiez Pizza, Gemello Vegan Pizza, L’Antica Pizzeria Da Michele, Lovebirds, Mangiare Berlin, NEA 1889, Prometeo, Spaccanapoli Nr. 12 and W Pizza. It will be a wonderful opportunity for pizza lovers to assess their favourite pizza in the city.

All participating pizzerias will use the same ovens, the Koda 16 by the company Ooni, designed for home use but also perfect for the city’s best pizza makers. In addition, there will be an Instagram contest that will reward the most original photo with an Ooni oven. More info will follow on our channels.

If you feel like eating something sweet after your pizza, don’t worry, we have the perfect solution for you: Kuchen von Gaia will have an own stand and offer its amazing cannoli, tiramisù and bignè.

The pizzas offer at the festival

Just like at pizza festivals in Naples, all pizzerias will offer both the margherita and the marinara at a fixed price of €8 and €7 respectively. In addition to the two traditional classics, each stand will offer two special pizzas, one with meat and one vegetarian or vegan, at a free price.

Make your pizza with the Make Pizza Academy workshop

For all of you Pizzaiolo wanna-be, during the Pizza Street Festival, there will be a stand where each person can prepare their own pizza thanks to the Make Pizza Academy workshop. In addition, participants will benefit from a 15% discount voucher on the purchase of an Ooni oven and get a t-shirt for free. You can register for the workshop directly at the Make Pizza Academy stand during the event.

Special cocktails and other partners

Special cocktails will also be on offer at the event: drinks based on Limoncello Di Capri, Sambuca Molinari, and Amaro Montenegro will be the excellent co-stars of the event: Dicapri Tonic and Dicapri Spritz (cocktails based on Limoncello di Capri), Molinari Mule (based on Sambuca Molinari), Montenegroni and Montetonic (based on Montenegro). Other partners are Mammafiore and Pomodoro. As alreday mentioned, the event is organised under the patronage of the City of Naples.

Not only food and drinks: Italian music at the festival

Italian music cannot not miss in a such event! That’s why we thought of a full program with Italian djs and a band. Saturday at 6 PM there will be a live concert by the incredible Italian band Daiana Lou. Before and after the concert, Dj Gio di Sera will play Italian pop and dance music. On Sunday we will dance with the Italo Beats by Dj Barox.
