Participate in the fourth edition of the Berlin Ice Cream Week, there are going to be great prizes!
The Berlin Ice Cream Week is ready to open the ice cream season with 43 special flavours.
This year the event will take place from the 20th to the 26th of April, and, obviously, there will also be the Instagram contest launched by True Italian, thanks to which you will have the opportunity to win a stay for two people in Pisa in the beautiful hotel La Torre Garbata. Just take a picture during the week of the event to participate!
Not only that, True Italian also organises a totally offline competition that will give away a coupon worth 50€ to consume in one of the ice cream shops participating in the event.

Pisa: the city of the iconic tower
Pisa is a very characteristic Tuscan city, world-famous for its charming leaning tower, which welcomes thousands of tourists from all over the world every year. It’s a both ancient and modern city, proud of its glorious past, and today home to three of Italy’s most important Universities.
Of course, talking about Italy one cannot forget to mention the gastronomy, and Pisa’s is certainly worth a try. In fact, the city offers several specialities including various local cold cuts, the excellent ribollita, the cecina and the mucco pisano, a dish made from the pisana, a highly prized breed of cattle.
Pisa is a city rich in art, where you can be fascinated by majestic works such as the Duomo or by its beautiful museums. Little curiosity: did you know that in Pisa there is not only the famous leaning Tower, but at least two other leaning towers?

The Instagram contest: how to participate
To try to win your stay in Pisa, you just have to participate in the Instagram contest that True Italian organises on the occasion of the Berlin Ice Cream Week 2023. From the 20th to the 26th of April you can go to one of the 43 artisan ice cream parlours participating in the event and order the special proposed flavour. Take a picture or a video of the ice cream or of someone who eats it and publish it on your Instagram profile before 11pm of April 26th, be original! (only post or reel, the stories will not be considered).
In order to be admitted to the competition it is important to follow these simple rules:
- Tag the @trueitalianfood profile in the post (a picture or a reel, IG stories won’t be taken in consideration);
- Use the hashtag #berlinicecreamweek in the description of the post;
- Indicate the place where the photo was taken (must be one of those participating in the event).
How to win the Instagram contest
The True Italian team will select the ten most creative photos and reward the originality of the amateur photographers who decided to participate in the contest.
Thursday, April 27th from 4pm the ten selected shots will be published on the stories of @trueitalianfood and YOU will decide which the photo which deserves the victory will be, clicking if you like or do not like the photo. After 24 hours from the publication of the stories we will announce and contact the winner of the contest, which means the image with the highest number of likes!
Stamp contest: how to participate and how to win 50€ to spend on delicious ice cream
To participate in this contest you will just need the map of the event, which you can find in all participating ice cream parlours.
Every time you buy the special flavour at the price of just 1.50€, you can ask for the Berlin Ice Cream Week 2023 stamp to be applied to your flyer. If you buy at least 5 ice creams in 5 different ice cream shops you can send an email to trueitaliancontest@gmail.com by April 30th at 11 am, participating in the draw to win a coupon worth € 50, to be redeemed in one of the ice cream shops of your choice among those participating in the event.
The draw will be made online on the social channels of True Italian on the 3rd of May at 6pm.
