The 72hrs True Italian Food Festival is back again to delight you with the best Italian specialties, offered at a very promotional price, from the 29th of March until the first of April in 41 selected Italian restaurants in Berlin.

As in the previous edition, we organized an Instagram photo contest, thanks to which you can win a stay in Italy. This time, the lucky winner will have the chance to visit the wonderful city of Bergamo, which has been elected as Italy’s Capital of Culture 2023.
But that’s not all! Because, this year, there will also be a second and third prize. It’s really easy to partecipate, you will just have to show your creativity sharing your 72hrs experience on you Instagram channel!

Bergamo: Italy’s Capital of Culture 2023
This year you have the perfect chance to visit this fascinating city which was elected Italy’s Capital of Culture 2023. A masterpiece rich of history, art, cultural events: Bergamo’s landscape, surrounded by the majestic Venetian Walls an UNESCO World Heritage Site, will steal your heart.
The culinary tradition is another reason of pride: polenta taragna, casoncelli, stracciatella ice cream, wonderful selection of cold cuts and cheese: these are just some of the dishes and products that represent the huge eno-gastronomic heritage of this city.
If you mouth is already watering, and your curiosity of visiting Bergamo has suddenly increased, then you shouldn’t miss the chance to win a stay in the wonderful hotel Life Source Hotel, in Bergamo, thanks to the 72hrs True Italian Food Festival Instagram photo contest.
The contest: how to participate
Taking part in the contest is very easy: you will just have to go in one of the 41 restaurants in Berlin that will join the 72 hrs True Italian Food Festival (here the complete list) from 29th of March to the 1st of April and order the specialty that they propose.
Don’t rush to eat the dish: take a moment to take a picture of the specialty or of a person eating it. Unleash your creativity! Then post it on your Instagram profile (it must be a public one at least for all the duration of the contest) before 11pm of Saturday 1st April (only post and reels, stories won’t be considered).
In order to be admitted to the contest it is important that:
- the profile of @trueitalianfood is tagged in the post;
- the post contains the #72hrstrueitalian;
- the post contains the location of the restaurants in which the photo was taken (of course it must be one of the 41 restaurants taking part in the event)
How to win the contest
The True Italian Team will select the 10 most original photos and reward the creativity of amateur photographers who decided to participate in the contest. Then, on Monday 3rd April starting from 12 p.m., the ten selected shots will be published in the Instagram stories of @trueitalianfood. You, dear followers, will decide the winners of the contest by clicking ?? if you like the photo or ?? if you do not.
Once 24 hours have passed since the stories were published, we will announce the three lucky winner (the ones who received the highest number of ??) and we will contact them privately.
Prizes up for grabs
Three wonderful prizes are up for grabs for the three winners.
First place: there is a 3-night stay for two, breakfast included, in the elegant Life Source Hotel in Bergamo, located in a 6000 m2 green park that will offer you the opportunity to be in close contact with nature. The design building overlooks the Upper City and the hills of Bergamo, so you will enjoy a unique view. The dates of the stay will be chosen by the winners according to the availability of the host structure. Flights to Bergamo are not included in the prize, but there are many cheap flights available from Berlin with the major low-cost airlines.
Second place: a shopping bag of Babbi products containing a box of delicious Viennesi Deluxe classic and fondant and a box of Waferini Romagna vanilla and hazelnut;
Third place: two Sarti Rosa bottles with 6 customized glasses, to enjoy a fresh aperitif in the comfort of your own home.

Sicilian arancini with porchetta, Neapolitan impepata di cozze, Piedmontese baked tomino, and many other regional Italian specialties to be enjoyed alongside a drink (Sarti Spritz, wine, beer or non-alcoholic, depending on the venue) and a Babbi wafer for just €9.
