Once again this year Berlin Ice Cream Week is set to open the ice cream season with 37 incredible flavours. To mark the occasion, there will be an Instagram contest launched by True Italian, which this year offers a dream holiday for two in Milan or Rome as a prize. Simply take a photo during the week of the event to enter the contest, and try to win a stay in one of the two Italian cities. Moreover, True Italian is organising an offline competition with a 50 € coupon to be spent in one of the participating gelato shops of your choice (full list here).

The Instagram contest: how to participate
To try and win a stay in Milan or Rome, simply take part in the Instagram contest that True Italian is organising on the occasion of Berlin Ice Cream Week 2022. From 5 to 11 May, you can go to one of the 37 artisan gelato parlours taking part in the event (see the full list here) and order the special flavour on offer. Take a nice picture of the ice cream or someone eating it and post it on your Instagram profile by 11 pm on Wednesday 11th May (only posts, stories will not be considered).
To be eligible for the competition it is important to follow these few simple rules:
– Tag the @trueitalianfood profile in the post;
– Use the hashtag #berlinicecreamweek in the post description;
– Indicate the gelato shop where the photo was taken as the location (it must be one of those participating in the event).

How to win the Instagram contest
The True Italian team will select the ten most original and creative photos and reward the creativity of the amateur photographers who have decided to take part in the contest. On Thursday 12th May from 4 PM the ten selected shots will be published on @trueitalianfood stories and you will decide which 2 photos are most deserving of victory by clicking ?? if you like the photo or ?? if you don’t like the photo. After 24 hours from the publication of the stories, we will announce and contact the winners of the contest, i.e. the 2 pictures with the highest number of ??.
Sticker contest: how to participate and how to win 50€ in ice cream
All you need to participate in this contest is the event map, which you can find at all participating ice cream parlours (full list here). Every time you buy the special flavour for only 1€, you can ask for the Berlin Ice Cream Week 2022 sticker and stick it on the event flyer, on the sticker next to the name (participant list side). If you collect at least 5 stickers in 5 different participating ice cream parlours, you can send an email to info@true-italian.com and you will be entered into a draw to win a voucher worth €50 to redeem in one of the ice cream parlours of your choice among those participating in the event. The extraction will be done on May 18th at 6 PM on the social media channels of True Italian.
